Pastor | Matt Marino
Pastor Matt Marino was installed as Pastor of Grace Church ARP in October of 2021. Matt, along with his wife and two of their children live in Winter Springs.
Ruling Elder | Daniel Thorne
Dan Thorne was born in Winter Garden, Florida, and lived in Merritt Island and Cocoa until 1979, when he joined the US Air Force. While stationed in California, he proposed to and married his wife, Carlene. Dan and Carlene have been at Grace Church since May 2004. They have four adult children and seven grandchildren.
Ruling Elder | Derek Anderson
Derek Anderson was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba. At age nine he moved to Ventura, California, where he grew up and later became a US citizen. He attended LeTourneau University in Longview, Texas. There he met his wife Evelyn. Derek has a degree in mechanical/automotive engineering. He worked for Westinghouse and Siemens for 45 years, retiring in 2014.
In addition to serving as an elder at Grace Church, Derek teaches several Bible study groups. Derek and Evelyn have two adult children and one granddaughter.
Director of Music | Joe Lewis
Joe Lewis has been the Music Director at Grace since 2014. Previously he was the Associate Organist at First Presbyterian Church of Maitland andDirector of Music and Organist at Westminster Presbyterian Church in Casselberry. In addition Joe has been guest organist at numerous churches in Central Florida, and has composed a number of piano arrangements of familiar hymns, including one for handbell choir. Joe holds degrees from Florida Technological University, the University of Central Florida, and the University of Florida College of Law. He has worked professionally in communications at NASA and in the U.S. Navy, and is a licensed pilot, a licensed amateur radio operator, a certified SCUBA diver, and a photographer.
